This carpet renewal business is for the birds. We've been actively at it for 10-12 hours a day for over seven weeks now, and we're still less than half way done. Well, okay, not quite 10-12 hours, not quite seven weeks, and quite a lot more than halfway done, but it still feels like it's taking forever to get it done and over with. Today is day one of carpet replacement week. This would have been alright if it hadn't been for the Floor Issue. There are soft spots. We knew this. We just didn't know quite the size of them. Argh. I don't think I'm going to enjoy this weekend. Pictures and amusing anecdotes to follow, I'm sure.
